​Description:
  • Solved the issue of YEM installation path.  On app launch if the path saved in AppSettings.ini file is wrong (it does not exists) it will be searched and replaced automatically with the default one.
  • If Yamaha Expansion Manager was not installed, or was not started a least one time, the application does not mention that and it just starts and close without any message. Now this was solved as well.
  • Solved an issue with Install Target keyboards. For Genos2, Ela-1, PSR-A5000 and PSR-SX600 missing those little icons for keyboards makes application to ignore the keyboard in Install Target. Icons were added and now keyboards are displaying correctly. 
    Note: Keyboards in Yamaha Expansion Manager must be selected at least one time for YEM-CE to be able to display the Install Target keyboard.
  • Solved the error in backup process if 7-zip is missing from your computer. If 7-zip were not installed in computer an error of  "Object reference is not set to an object" was raised.

​Description:
  • Solved the problem of selecting individual items in a pack, to be exported.
  • Backup operation now have cancel option.  The button can be pressed any time in the backup process, but if the cancel process does not operate imediatelly that means a file is being processed and the cancel operation wait for it to be finnished. Backup archive will be automatically deleted.
  • New icons has been added (Genos2, Ela-1, PSR-A5000, a.s.o.)
  • Solved an issue with exporting content, like styles, registration banks, and so on. If the file name contained dots, the export of the respective file was not performed correctly.
  • ​​Some other minor bugs were solved!

​Description:
  • Display damaged packs is the newest function of this app. Taking care of users feedback, in some installation seems Yamaha Expansion Manager does not manage its folders (installation packs) one hundred percent. In some circumstances some pack's garbage remains in user's folder and a lot of hard disk space could be occupied in vain. Now, this screen will be able to show you damaged/broken packs stored in YEM's user folder, letting you decide of action to take: leave it there or delete it and free up the space on HDD!
  • Quick change in Multi YEM Manager's Set active process. It means this could happen almost instantly. No more waiting to check for file in use! If file or folder is in use, this process is managed and all job is made by application!
    NOTE: To consider: if you get error when clicking on "Set active" button, you must change the selection of selected pack to another one and back. Background processes of packs size calculation block your action! 
  • If a pack does not contain files as styles, voices, midi files, registrations, and so on, which can be shown by this application, and contains only samples files, this will be shown in status bar when clicking a pack like this! The number of samples will be shown!
    But if the pack is empty, this message will be displayed.
  • Mouse over content icons will display the type and category of the voices!
  • ​Some other minor bugs were solved!
Issues for this version * :
  • You cannot select individual content for export, like styles, registration banks, pads, etc. 
    But you can use that little button with an arrow which offers you the possibility to select all content of a type. 
* those bugs were found by users after the version was released.

​Description:
  • Bug found on checking for installation folder on x64 machines.  Code revision.

  • Icons database was rebuild for all keyboards models available. When you change keyboards from left panel the icon set will be changed to selected keyboard (Genos, PSR-SX900, PSR-SX600, etc)​

​Description:
  • New Functions :
    - Export voices parameters for EMC Style Factory.
    - Export voices parameters for Steinberg Cubase.
  • UI Changes
    - All "Export for ..." menus has been moved to a single menu item, "Export voices parameters for other software formats"
    - Show icons for selected content was moved in a new menu item in menu bar, named "Settings".
    - The file for MixMaster will contain a "comment" line, before each pack,  with the name of pack.
    - Exporting voices parameters will take care about an option in Settings menu, named "Export PC Numbers as 000-127". If this option will be checked, all exportable parameters will be in PC range of 000-127. If it is not checked, all voices parameters will be exportable as in PC range of 001-128 (display range). This option will be remembered at next app launch.
    Note:
    After exporting file for Cubase, you will have to manually install file in Cubase local folder on your installation. You will find that folder in user area (Roaming), "%appdata%\Steinberg\<CubaseVersion>\Scripts\Patchnames\inactive\Yamaha", without quotes. Usually, AppData folder is a hidden folder in user's system drive, so it is more simple to write only "%appdata%" in your windows start search bar, and after that to navigate thru folders till you reach Yamaha folder in Steinberg Cubase's folders tree.
    After you paste your copy of generated file by YEM-CE, you will have to install it in Cubase Midi Devices. So, search "Midi Device Manager" option in Cubase Menu (different locations on different versions) and press on INSTALL button. Take care, if you have already an old version of your file installed, you have to remove installed file before installing the new one, by selecting it in the displayed list, and click on "Remove Device".
    Depending on your preferences, you may create one file for each Pack (it will show your pack name in Midi Device selection ) or you can export all packs in one file, and the device will be shown as a single device containing all voices grouped by packs names.

​Description:
  • Changed the appearance of interface, as Packs and elements in packs to be displayed more like in Yamaha Expansion Manager.
  • You can now remove unnecessary empty waveforms, to reduce waveform parameter size.
  • You can enable banks which are disabled for editing, in certain voices types (not SA, SA2, or from cpf packs)
  • Differently as previous version, you can select exportable content individually, like only styles, only midi files, only registration banks, etc, or what type of content interest, using dedicated button with ">" sign, and you can export them on a folder in your PC. Also, the value of the checkbox present on each control can be changed by a single click on it (not double click as in previous version).
  • Implemented a checking for update function, when app start. A link will be shown in status bar.
Note:  If you modify something in YEM, please close YEM program and after that refresh the content in YEM-CE2. It seems YEM will take control of internal files as not-shared read-write, and cannot be accessed in the same time by other applications.
